My Poor Baby!

Stanton tried climbing out of his crib in the middle of the night, and fell, hitting his head on the dresser on the way down. So we took a family trip to the hospital at 3am. Luckily, the X-rays said that BIG, beautiful head of his is just fine! So, the joke of the week (scroll down to the right) is in honor of Stanton this week.

Kawanis Wave Pool

KaWANNA have the best time ever!! All the Curry kids went to Kawanis wave pool and had so much fun! However, I thiink we were the only people there without tatoos. One lady had Mickey and Minnie on her thigh, with the names Marge and Phil underneath. That in itself was worth the price of admission!

Evergreen's Got Talent!

The Evergreen Ward talent show was a huge success, put on by moi (that means "me" en francais) and the awesome activities committee!! We had juggling by Johnny!
There was dancing. Tim & Melissa Johnson, MArcus & Amy Webb, Mari Ashby and I danced a little Napolean Dynamite action, complete with pelvic thrusts and moon boots!
The Thriller dance...very cool! Ben even had the glove!
And is a talent show really a talent show without a spinning wheel? Well folks, we had one!!! Not to mention, singing, jokes, arm wrestling, midget people and balancing chairs on faces! Talk about an extravaganza!!!

I'm Not Wearing A Top....

OUCH!!!!

So Stanton, Noelle and I went to the zoo two days in a row. (I guess you could call us party ANIMALS.) The second day, Daddy went with us, and we decided to show him how we like to chase birds. He looked a little concerned, but interested as well. So Stanny and I saw some pheasant-turkey looking birds, and we ran after them, following them off of the zoo path, through some bushes and trees, and then it happened....I stepped on a sword. (Robert called it a thorn, but I say it was very large and sharp like a sword.) It went right through my generic crocs, and put a small hole in my foot, which is now covered up by the dirt on my feet, which is why you can't see it in the picture. So, if you see me hobbling around that is why.

The Munchies

I have a question. I was at Wal-Mart the other day shopping with my family, when Kimmie starts opening all the food and eating it. She even gave some to Stanton. She was munching on cookies, while he enjoyed a bag of goldfish. This is not the first time it's happned. It seems Anytime we get food to go Kimberly will start eating it in the car. Maybe I'm a weirdo but I like to WAIT UNTIL I GET HOME TO EAT MY FOOD. So in an effort to settle this freindly little disagreement, please respond to the poll to the right

While the Boys are away, the Girls will play!

While our husbands went camping on father and sons, they left the girls to have their fun.

So we all went to Stacy's to have a ball, when Whitney and Emily showed up with self-dyed hair and shocked us all.

Luckily Corinne had come to play, and her hair styling skillls saved the day.

She fixed their hair and did me and Myra's for fun, and we all looked great when she was done.

Then everyone went home to sleep, except for Stacy, Mary and me. We stayed up and partied until a little after three.

My Sweetie Pie

Tomorrow is our anniversary.... and while I normally leave the posting to kimmie, I thought I might say a few words. As many of you know I have a very special wife. I loooove her so much. She could have had lots of other boyfreinds... hundreds even... but she chose me. She's given me some very cute kids (see below) and is my best freind.

Noelle's Baby Blessing

We blessed Noelle a few weeks ago, but we were late for church because we locked ourselves out of our car and our house, so we had to hitchhike to get there. Luckily our friend Corinne picked us up and saved the day. Thanks Corinne!!!

Everyday is a Fun Day!!!

We have fun with friends.

We walk around the zoo shirtless because we play in the fountains and get all wet. (Actually, just Stanton does that.)

We go to the mall play place with our buddies.

We go to free smoothie day at Jamba Juice. (Everyday used to be free smoothie day back when Uncle Michael worked there.)

We went to the library and saw flamingos, penguins, a tortise and some kangaroo/possum thing. The tortise was Stanton's favorite. He tried to pull it's legs out of it's shell.

Tribute to Lynnae

My bff Lynnae is in Japan for 3 whole weeks! Many have offered their sympathies, but it does not quite ease the lonliness. Who do I borrow ingredients from? Who do I call five times a day to brag about my kids accomplishments? Lynnae, you will be missed!!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!!

We are celebrating our 4 year anniversary on Thursday, April 10th. For anyone who doesn't know how Robert wooed me, I will tell you.
Robert and I met while we were working at Rio Salado College, and we became fast friends. We hung out together all the time, even though I was dating someone else. After I got dumped I decided to move to Minnesota because I used to be somewhat dramatic.
So I did, and I missed Robert so much, and realized that I was totally in love with him. So he came to visit me for a few days and a couple of weeks later he sent me a plane ticket to come visit him and go to a Matchbox Twenty concert because that was my favorite band.
When I came to visit I decided that I didn't want to leave him, so I stayed. I only had one suitcase of clothes, and my car was in Minnesota. Since I didn't have a place to live, I moved into a barn that belonged to a man with Elephantitis, but it was really scary, and soon after I bacame roomies with my pal Shelly.
Then, Robert proposed and Christmas Eve, and the rest is history. THANKS HONEY FOR THE BEST 4 YEARS OF MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!!!
